CEO

Before joining Statara as CEO, Lindsey Schuh Cortés served as the founding CEO of the Democratic Data Exchange (DDx), an organization that facilitates the blind exchange of proprietary data with organizations, parties, and campaigns across the Left. Prior to DDx, Lindsey was the DNC Deputy CTO where she helped set and execute the vision for the overhaul of the Democratic Party’s technology tools and analytics infrastructure; products; and services for the 2018 midterm elections. Lindsey was previously the CEO of BlueLabs and served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Deputy Political Director for SEIU.

Principal

Matt has spent his career providing expertise on the acquisition, standardization, and utilization of publicly and privately available datasets to trade associations, think tanks, non-profits, and political campaigns. He managed several aspects of the Tobacco Project at the National Association of Attorneys General that was tasked with enforcing the economic and public health provisions of the Master Settlement Agreement. At NAAG he was responsible for the creation of a data driven analysis that helped pass tobacco control legislation in 47 state legislatures. As the first Chief Revenue Officer of TargetSmart, he oversaw the implementation of new products and their introduction to the political technology marketplace and grew annual revenue by over 500% during his tenure.

Principal

Bryan has been a national leader in technology and analytics for political and public affairs campaigns, helping elect Presidents and Prime Ministers, and pass federal and state legislation. He designed and led data and analytics efforts for various NGOs and social good campaigns while serving as Chief Innovation Officer for TargetSmart. During the 2012 election, Bryan was Chief Technology Officer for the Democratic National Committee and built the national data infrastructure used by President Obama’s successful reelection campaign. He previously served as founding Director of Field Information Services at the Service Employees International Union in Washington, DC working with union affiliates and national partners on technology, data, micro-targeting, and analytics. 

Data Architecture

Jeremy Kane leads Statara’s Data Architecture and Infrastructure. Jeremy began his career as a Data Engineer for Accudata Integrated Marketing and held several technical positions before becoming Director, Business Development. In 2009, Jeremy founded Efficax Data Systems which was acquired by TargetSmart in 2013. Jeremy spent nine years helping grow TargetSmart in a variety of roles including Chief Information Officer and Chief Productivity Officer. An expert in Alteryx Development, Jeremy has competed in the Alteryx Grand Prix on four occasions: winning in 2010 and placing 2nd in 2015. Jeremy has extensive experience managing data driven projects for companies in a variety of industries. 

Data Acquisition & Sales Operations Specialist

Beth Jung serves as Data Acquisition & Sales Operations Specialist at Statara, supporting the Sales and Business Development teams while also performing data acquisition duties for the Data Products team. Prior to joining Statara, Beth was Strategic Campaign Manager at REAL Strategies. Her experience includes project management, operations, fundraising, and marketing analysis across a variety of industries.

Engineering

Dan Kelly serves on Statara Data Architecture and Infrastructure team. Prior to joining Statara, Dan was responsible for developing integrated automation of manual data processes utilizing Alteryx, Powershell and Python while working at TargetSmart for almost a decade. Previously, Dan served in Senior Data Engineering roles at Efficax Data Systems and Accudata Integrated Marketing where he was responsible for the development and deployment of high-end data solutions for corporate clients in various industries. 

Data Science

Collin Pace is Statara’s lead designer of predictive models and solutions for targeted marketing. Previously at TargetSmart, Collin established their internal analytic capabilities and modeling department. He has worked directly with local, state, and national organizations to develop custom-based predictive model offerings. Prior, Collin worked for a marketing analytics firm where he used his strong analytic background to help retailers, healthcare companies, and communities make better informed decisions about real estate site selection and marketing strategies. Collin brings extensive experience building predictive models using a variety of analytic software suites (Alteryx, SAS, R, Tableau, SPSS) to build unique, custom solutions for clients in various industries. 

Engineering

Ben Purtell works on Statara’s Data Architecture and Infrastructure team. Prior to joining Statara, Ben was a Data Analyst on the Production team before transitioning to the Productivity Team at TargetSmart. Ben keeps Statara running, and covers our clients’ data engineering needs in Alteryx, Jira and Salesforce.
